Job Description

Selectek is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Utility Coordinator with proven experience in utility coordination for civil engineering and construction projects. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, surveyors, utility companies, and municipalities to facilitate timely and compliant utility-related activities throughout project lifecycles.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate utility requirements for civil engineering and construction projects.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and surveyors to identify and manage utility needs.
  • Liaise with utility companies, municipalities, and stakeholders to obtain necessary permits, clearances, and approvals.
  • Ensure all utility work complies with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as safety standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive project records, documentation, and schedules.
  • Monitor and manage utility coordination timelines in alignment with overall project milestones.
  • Utilize GIS and AutoCAD to support utility design and mapping efforts.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (required).
  • Proven experience in utility coordination within the civil engineering or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of utility infrastructure, permitting processes, and applicable regulations.
  • Proficiency in GIS and AutoCAD software.
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across disciplines.
Preferred Traits:
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience working with local municipalities and utility providers.
Pay Rate: $40.87 - $57.69
Term: 6-month temp to permanent
