Overview:

Selectek is seeking a Utility Coordinator to support civil engineering projects by managing utility coordination efforts. This position involves working directly with project managers, engineers, surveyors, municipalities, and utility companies to ensure all utility-related components of land development projects are executed efficiently and in compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate utility design, permitting, and approvals with engineers, surveyors, and municipalities

  • Maintain accurate project records and schedules

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local utility regulations and safety standards

  • Interface with utility companies to obtain permits and clearances

  • Utilize GIS and AutoCAD for utility mapping and plan documentation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management

  • Experience with utility infrastructure, permitting processes, and regulations

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and GIS tools

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Location: Indianapolis, IN 46256
Pay: $40.87–$57.69/hr. | Direct Salary: $85K–$120K
Type: 6-Month Temp-to-Direct or Direct Hire
Hours: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
