Job Description

We have a client looking for a Truss Designer located in Knoxville, TN
This is a 6-month contract to direct opportunity
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design of roof and floor trusses; using Mitek program
  • Generate truss layouts for field use using Mitek program
  • Generate pricing for estimating purposes.
THIS JOB REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING:
  • A MINIMUM of five years DESIGN experience in the Truss industry
  • Ability to PROFICIENTLY operate Mitek program
  • Complete knowledge of roof and floor truss design
  • Basic knowledge of the construction industry
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural blueprints
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good math skills
  • Ability to work as a team player
  • Self-motivated with great work ethic
  • Adaptable to new situations
  • Ability to use Microsoft Windows, Excel and Word
Mitek or Alpine Software may be considered.  
Salary Level-$40k-$60k
Must be able to come into office in Knoxville, TN
