We have an exciting opportunity for a Transportation Engineer with roadway design experience to join a growing consulting firm. The ideal candidate will bring civil engineering experience with a focus on transportation /roadway design in the consulting industry and/or experience working with or for public sector clients.
The successful candidate should have experience with design and constructability reviews of plans. The role will assist Senior Engineers and Project Managers with management of design review process and permitting through outside agencies. The position will conduct reviews and makes recommendations of approval of potential construction change orders, utility agreements, and construction and utility pay estimates. The transportation engineer will be responsible for completion of discipline engineering project elements such as reports, designs, specifications, and plans. Engineers will need to be proficient with Microstation and have GDOT experience.

Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- 3 plus years’ experience in transportation design with strong roadway experience.
- MicroStation Proficiency
- Knowledge of GDOT's Plan Development Process (PDP)
- EIT

- PE
