Job Description
We are looking for a Junior Transportation Engineer in Indianapolis IN. This is a 6-month contract to direct opportunity.
Required:
- Engineering design including geometric design of highways and streets, drainage design (hydrology and hydraulics) and completion of construction engineering
- Assist in the development of models, figures, reports, and engineering plans for designs
- Prepare construction plans and project displays
- Assist in the preparation of proposal documents and preliminary project evaluation
- Coordinate project tasks and report to project manager and supervisory staff to assist in budget, schedule, and project status tracking.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering degree from an ABET accredited program.
- 2 – 7 years’ experience is designing transportation projects.
- Background working on INDOT, county, and municipal transportation design projects.
- MicroStation / Bentley Open Roads Designer (required)
Term: 6 Months Contract to Direct Hire
