Job Description

Selectek is partnering with a company near Columbia, South Carolina to hire a Transmission Engineer. This company specializes in electricity transmission, and candidates will need a strong power distribution background.

Employment Type: Permanent Hire
Expected Salary Range: $90,000 and up, depending on experience
Location: Columbia, SC

Job Duties: Candidates will create detailed electrical system layouts, plans and construction arrangement drawings. This role will require knowledge of general arrangement, ground grids, conduit layouts, and equipment specifications. Project leadership and mentoring of younger engineers will also be required.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in applicable engineering field
- 10+ years of experience in utility design
- Proficiency with PLS-CADD
- Understanding of the utility power grid 

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00a-5:00p. 

*Candidates holding a PE license and 10+ years of experience are eligible to work remotely.*
