Job Description
We have an immediate need for a Training Instructor/PLC Robotics in the Lake Orion, MI area.
Qualified Candidates do not need previous training or teaching experience. Background in Automation and/or Robotics, Floor Line Building, System Integration and working in Manufacturing Facilities is required.
Must be comfortable with traveling to client sites - about 60% travel.
This is a 6 month, temp-to-direct position. Starting pay is based on experience but estimated to be $80k-$90k once direct. Job description:

Hours: Mon-Fri, 7AM-3:30PM - *You must be open to working 2nd or 3rd shifts on occasion*

- Working as a Training Instructor at an Automotive Manufacturing Plant Facility.
- Applying your own work & field experience in Automation, Floor Line Building, Controls, Robotics and other related skills to train apprentices on how these processes and equipment work in a manufacturing facility.
- Teach how to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, program automated floor lines involving robotics and related floor line equipment.
- Up to 60% Travel (mainly local) to automotive manufacturing facilities to run the training classes.
- Work on curriculum for Training classes.
- Siemens PLC
- Proven field experience as a Controls Engineer, Systems Integrator and/or Electrician working on Automation Equipment in a manufacturing facility.
- Experience with Controls systems (I.E.-Fanuc iR Vision, Kuka )
- Interested in "coming off the floor" and ready to teach others.
- Ability to travel to non-local plant sites when needed. (You will be paid per-diem and put up in hotel)
- Comfortable speaking in front of groups.
