Traffic Engineer career opportunity available! 

Are you a skilled Traffic Engineer seeking your next challenge? An exciting opportunity is available in McLean, VA 22102 offering competitive compensation & benefits! 

Role Overview:
  • Project Leadership: Manage transportation design projects, including traffic signals, lighting, pavement markings, and signage.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare traffic analysis studies, site access evaluations, and design exception/waiver documentation.
  • Collaboration: Lead project meetings and collaborate with various teams on traffic engineering and planning initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain within 1 year.
  • 6+ years of experience in transportation engineering or traffic studies.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
  • Strong communication skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Highway Capacity Manual (HCM) and Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).
  • Experience in Traffic Design.
