The Recruiter will be responsible for ensuring the success and fulfillment of our clients' staffing needs. They will lead, organize, and execute a variety of talent acquisition programs to ensure we help our clients hire the best on the job market — not just the best available.

Work Location:
  • In-person/in the office Monday - Friday.
  • After reaching key measurables, you can transition to a 50/50 hybrid schedule and then move to 100% fully remote WFH after further progression.
  • Our office is located in Kennesaw, GA, one mile off of I-75 (just off Barrett Parkway).

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Win others over via your phone voice and etiquette. Here, we do not hide behind emails and texts, but we are in the business of letting our voice shine through the phone 
  • Working closely with the account managers to understand job specifications and success factors for each position we are filling 
  • Scouting for new talent using a variety of methods 
  • Understanding the salary requirements of candidates and negotiating compensation
  • Managing interview schedules and logistics, collecting feedback on time, and assisting with hiring decisions 
  • Preparing periodic reports on submissions, interviews, confirmations, and placements for our clients
  • Consult with and help candidates through the job offer and acceptance process - you get to be their cheerleader and number one supporter in this journey
  • Read between the lines - you will be responsible for seeing the candidates for more than just their resume, but their experience, education, skills, training, cultural fit within the company, and for potential future matches
  • Posting and managing job listings on all major job sites (i.e., Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.).

Our requirements are pretty straightforward. To qualify you must:
  • Must hold a bachelor’s degree or have equivalent work experience in a people-oriented industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - you are a communication wizard
  • Excellent follow-up and organizational skills - you are the type to color code your closet or always know where you left specific objects, even if not clearly visible
  • Possess knowledge of social networking space and creative recruiting techniques
  • Thoroughly understand leading practices in talent sourcing strategies
  • Be able to implement advanced networking, candidate generation, and internet sourcing
  • Have excellent judgment and always maintain strict adherence to confidentiality requirements and the utmost professionalism in all situations
  • Have a fast-paced work ethic that empowers you to meet tight deadlines (24 hours deadline with a to-do list a mile long? No problem!)
  • Exhibit an infectious can-do attitude and an ability to pivot and change course on a dime
  • Be part of the team and work from our Kennesaw office

Donnie Rahm
Recruiting Department Manager

Donnie is the Recruiting Department Manager at Selectek where he leads and motivates our team of expert technical and engineering recruiters.  Donnie works to continually enhance the team's strengths and clear roadblocks that may stifle their ability to perform at their best. 

Donnie has worked in the staffing industry since 2010.  In doing so, he has worked both sides of the desk, from working closely with candidates to help locate and place them in their desired work environments to building strong partnerships with clients to fully understand their needs to locate highly qualified professionals to fill their specific openings.  Over the years Donnie has consistently found ways to share his insight and techniques in recruiting, client management, and relationship building to help mentor, train, coach, and lead numerous recruiting and account management professionals.  Donnie has always had an undeniable passion for helping others in his profession become better at what they do. 

Donnie was raised in the small Mid-Missouri town of Holts Summit and graduated from Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration.  Donnie and his wife Jessica, now live in Cobb County, GA and together they have three young children.  In addition to enjoying time with his family, he tries to squeeze in some time to watch St. Louis Cardinals baseball, Kansas City Chiefs football, and the University of Georgia football program.
