Job Description
Our client is looking for a REMOTE, Systems Integration/I and C Engineer who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business, including projects including state of the art industrial and commercial facilities.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 Years of experience working with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, RSLogix 5000 programming experience.
- GE CIMPLICITY, iFIX, Wonderware or FactoryTalk configuration experience.
- PLC programming, testing, and plant commissioning experience in process control systems in critical plant environments.
Preferred:
- ISA Certified Automation Professional (CAP)
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
- Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams
- Experience in various aspects of industrial automation, instrumentation, electrical power and building automation system design.
Responsibilities:
- You’ll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging programming tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.
- You’ll also provide on-site assistance during startup, coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead.
- You’ll be part of a fast-paced team focused on designing building systems, complex facilities, data centers, and similar state of the art structures.
- With your technical background you will work with a team of engineers to create, design, and improve system controls.
- You will work in a team environment along with engineers and project managers to solve complex systems integration solutions in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- You will be providing support on system integration projects and new upgrades, developing PLC code, producing SCADA graphics, and interacting with clients and trade contractors.
