Job Description

Selectek is hiring a System Designer/Engineer for one of our partnering companies located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Candidates in this role will be focused on systems integration and creation based on clients' project requirements.

Employment Type: Contract-to-Direct (Six month contract period)
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Expected Pay Range: $37 - $53 per hour before conversion, depending on experience and certification.

Job Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in PLC Programming 
- Proficiency with Rockwell/Allen Bradley or Siemens ecosystem
- Knowledge of vision platforms (Cognex, Datalogic, etc) and operating systems (Unix, Linux, etc)

In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.

Job Duties:
- Design automation systems and analyze components based on company templates
- Write system code utilizing diverse programming languages
- Create technical documentation for design systems
- Participate in commissioning activities
- Develop user functional and technical specification documentation
- Assist with service calls and small quotes

Schedule: Monday-Friday, flexible start and end times. Some weekend work may be required depending on project requirements.
