Job Description

Selectek has an exciting opportunity for a Field Surveyor that will play an integral role in ensuring our clients’ products are engineered and fabricated accurately. The Surveyor will be responsible for traveling to job sites and gathering accurate information that will then be documented and shared with the engineering and fabrication teams. This information will make it possible for our clients to deliver their product into the field and ensure it is installed correctly without having to redo engineering work or fabricated parts.

This position requires heavy travel. Candidates should expect to be on the road nearly 100% of the time Monday-Friday at construction sites primarily across the southeastern United States. The expectation will be that anyone taking on the is role will be prepared to “live out of their suitcase” during the week.

Job Duties:
  • Conduct architectural and structural surveys on job sites collecting data with Total Station or Faro 3D Laser scanning equipment.
  • When necessary, take precise measurements by hand for additional building details.
  • Process all data collected to create proper reports
  • Work with Engineers and Fabrication team to assist with any questions about the data
Required:
  • 1 plus year of survey experience for architectural or structural projects
  • Proficiency using Total Station equipment
  • Strong customer service skills and professionalism to interact with client onsite
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel 100% of the time

Pay rate: $ 26.00-$29.00
Term: 6-month temp to perm
