Survey Crew Chief career opportunity!

Location: Louisville, KY
Pay: ~ +/- $30/hr [up to ~ $65k to start]

Seeking a Survey Crew Chief for a prominent civil engineering firm in Louisville, KY. This company, known for its commitment to quality and innovation, has a significant presence in the Midwest and offers opportunities for career growth and development. They are involved in a wide range of civil engineering projects, including wastewater treatment plants, topographic and boundary surveys, and more.
The role will involve leading a survey team, managing diverse projects, and working closely with clients and senior staff to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a survey crew on construction, topographic, and boundary survey projects.
  • Oversee survey operations at a wastewater treatment plant 3-5 days a week, with additional projects during the remaining days.
  • Ensure project quality and timely completion while traveling to various project sites as needed.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Survey Crew Chief.
  • Certification in both Kentucky and Indiana.
  • Strong knowledge of topographic and boundary surveys.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel for project assignments.
