Selectek is looking for a Survey CAD Technician in the Opelika, AL area.
Required:
Preferred:
Their design and engineering services include but are not limited to:
• municipal
• multi-family homes
• highway and street design and permitting
• water supply distribution system
• wastewater collection design and permitting
• commercial property
• residential and industrial master planning design and permitting
• effluent disposal system design and permitting
• storm water management system design and permitting
• erosion control plans and NPDES monitoring
Job Details:
In this role, you will do CAD Drafting work on a Civil scale. This will include producing drawings from Topographic Surveys, As-Built Surveys, Subdivision Plats, and Boundary Surveys. Candidate must have strong communication skills and work in a team environment.
Pay Rate: $21.50 - $26.44/hour
Pay when direct: Likely Salary - $40,000 - $55,000
Term of assignment: 6 month temp to perm
Location of Job: Lagrange, GA
Hours: 8AM – 5PM
Overtime: yes, possible
Travel: occasional, mostly local
Work Remote: potential for right fit as long as they are close enough to come in as well
Work from Home: No, they need to interact with Surveyors coming in/out
Does the Client Require a Background Check? Yes

- 2+ years of experience

Lizzie is originally from a small town in South Georgia where she grew up on a farm. She then moved to the “big city” of Athens to attend The University of Georgia where she received her bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication. The courses she took cultivated her desire to connect with people and help others. This path led her to a sales and recruiting job with a company in Atlanta that took her to Pittsburgh and then back to Atlanta. Although she enjoyed the competitiveness of sales, recruiting was her passion. For the next three years, Lizzie honed her recruiting skills while working for a light industrial/manufacturing staffing company in Marietta, GA.
Lizzie joined Selectek in March of 2021. She brought with her a cumulative of nearly 9 years of recruiting experience. Her strong background and knowledge of recruiting gave her a great base for learning the ins and outs of engineering and architecture.
In her spare time, Lizzie spends time with her dogs (Jax, Tuck, and Birdie) and cat (Luna). She also enjoys cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs football team and visiting local wineries. She enjoys going on trips with her husband, Philip, and playing in a competitive cornhole league with him.
