Job Description

We have an immediate need for a Survey CAD Tech in the Chapel Hill, NC area.

Summary:
They are working on Land-Use Development projects. field data, convert into boundary surveys. Create Topographic Surface models, Final Plats.

Job Duties:
  • Perform and compile as-builts for utilities, SCM’s, foundations, and other site improvements.
  • Perform 2D and 3D drafting, primarily utilizing Carlson, Trimble Business Center, and Autodesk Civil 3D software
  • Convert Field Data from Boundary Surveys.
  • Topographic Surface Models
  • Residential, Commercial and Industrial projects
 Required:
  • 5+ years of progressive experience and knowledge with Carlson and Civil 3D 
  • Residential and Commercial Design Experience
  • Ability to work in a Fast Paced Environment
  • Ability to work OT when needed
  • Ability to prioritize with respect to projects, CAD standard, etc. on a daily basis
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
Preferred:
  • Trimble Business Center
Location:  Chapel Hill, NC- will work from home 4 days per week
Pay:  $27-$35/hr.
Duration:  Temp-to-hire
