Job Description
Selectek has an immediate need for a Structural Steel Detailer in Germantown, WI. In this role, you will be responsible for creating shop and erection drawings using AutoCAD and Tekla Structures.
Requirements & Responsibilities:
Pay and Wages: $50,000 - $70,000 annual salary depending on education and experience
Benefits: 401(k) plus company matching, health, life, vision, and dental insurance available after first 60 days

Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Strong AutoCAD proficiency
- 2+ years of experience drafting/detailing structural steel
- Understanding of Tekla Structures
- Sound knowledge and understanding of AISC and AWS codes
- Familiarity with ASTM codes
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings (plans, sections, details)
- Prepare and issue requests for information to clarify conflicting or missing information
- Prepare erecting plans to show pieces to be installed in an overall plan
- Prepare shop drawings to issue to shop environment for fabrication
- Prepare computer generated files for export into other software for further use by other departments
