Job Description

Are you seeking a new role in the structural design field? Selectek needs a Structural Design Engineer for a client located near Austell, GA. Candidates will be preparing designs and analysis for structural building systems.

Employment Type: Direct Hire
Expected Pay Range: $65,000 - $70,000 based on experience and education
Location: Austell, GA

Job Duties:
- Consult with the architect and client to establish project requirements and preferences
- Design and analyze structural building systems (concrete, steel, and masonry), and verifying that designs meet local and national building codes. 
- Conduct predesign site visits to survey existing conditions, prepare preliminary drawings, and obtain necessary approvals.
- Develop contract documents (calculations, design drawings, schematics, and details) for construction and review submittals to verify conformance with those documents

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology
- Proficiency with AutoCAD
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial building design
- Ideal candidates are on track to obtain EIT certification

In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.
