Job Title: Structural Engineer
Location: Tucker, GA
Pay: $50-$65/hr

Needed immediately:  A Structural Engineer with 5-10 years' experience.  Autocad knowledge and STAAD or equivalent is required.  Revit is preferred.  
In this role you  will build STAAD models, and coordinate with the Lead to update models per vendor drawings. 
Required: 
  • Minimum 5 years' experience 
  • STAAD or equivalent
  • Bachelor's Degree
Preferred:
  • Revit
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Develop design concepts through to detailed design stage.
  • Design tasks mainly involve load determination, stress analysis, design using computational software design tools and hand calculations as appropriate.
  • Coordinate structural engineering with other engineering disciplines.
  • Primary function will be structural design for large-scale Industrial projects for both EPC and Engineer Consulting contracts.
  • Provide technical evaluation of supplier bids and present to project management.
  • Work in a team environment with other disciplines.
Candidate should also have:
  • Basic understanding of the key contributors to the cost of concrete and structural steel fabrication and construction.
  • Experience in design of shallow and deep foundations for buildings, industrial structures and heavy equipment.
  • Strong technical writing skills using MS Office applications and good verbal communication skills.
