Job Description

Direct, Full-Time Hire Structural Engineer career opportunity – Tallahassee, FL! 

A leader in industrial design is seeking a Structural Engineer to join their team in Tallahassee, FL. This firm specializes in engineering design for new industrial projects and facility expansions.

Salary: ~ +/- $60,000--$100,000 (DOE)
Benefits: Competitive PTO, Paid Overtime, 401(k) with 3% Match, 9 Paid Holidays

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead engineering design for new industrial projects and facility additions
  • Coordinate structural designs with various engineering disciplines and client specifications
  • Produce and manage construction documentation
  • Interface with vendors and client personnel
  • Review structural analysis, steel fabrication drawings, and perform foundation and concrete design

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Familiarity with STAAD Pro (preferred) or similar software
  • Understanding of AISC standards and AWS codes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with 3D models, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
  • Ability to handle structural analysis and construction documentation

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in industrial/commercial design
  • Proficiency with TEKLA or RAM
  • EIT certification or higher is a plus
