Job Description

Selectek has an immediate need to hire a Structural Engineer with a strong background and interest in residential design to join our growing team.

Requirements:
  • Completed Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering from an ABET Accredited Institution.
  • Minimum of one year experience in residential structural design, including single-family and multi-family homes, apartments, condominiums, townhomes, and accessory structures, preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Experience with roof truss and floor joist layouts, preferred.
Preferred:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop structural designs and create or revise construction documents for residential projects, including roof framing, floor framing, foundation plans, and construction details.
  • Manage multiple projects and coordinate schedules with the team.
  • Collaborate directly with Professional Engineers and Structural Drafters.
  • Review and redline your own drawings to ensure accuracy and quality.

Pay Rate: $65,000 - $100,000
Term: Direct Hire
