About the Role:
Urgently seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join team in any of the conveniently located offices in Metro DC, Baltimore, Richmond, or Charlotte. You’ll work on a variety of exciting projects, ranging from commercial and retail to government and historic buildings, with a focus on building envelope and waterproofing design.

Location options: North Bethesda, MD 20852, Baltimore, MD 21230, Alexandria, VA 22314, Richmond, VA 23219, Charlotte, NC 28208
Salary: Up to $110K (Based on experience and education)
Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engineering analysis and design of new and existing structures
  • Work on commercial, retail, government, hospitality, education, multi-family, and historic projects
  • Collaborate within a team on large projects and manage your own smaller projects
  • Design using various materials including steel, concrete, masonry, and wood
  • Utilize Bentley software (RAM Steel, RAM Concept, Elements, etc.) for design and modeling
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering
  • 3+ years of structural engineering design experience
  • Proficiency with building envelope and waterproofing
  • Experience with steel, concrete, masonry, and wood design, as well as familiarity with IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC codes
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred:
  • EIT or PE Certification is a plus but not required

  • Work Hours: M-F, core hours 9-5, with flexibility
