Job Description

We have an immediate need for a Structural Engineer in the Metro DC, Charlotte, Baltimore, MD, or Richmond, VA area. We have an office in each of these areas so whichever location is most convenient for you!

This is a full-time position with a max base salary of 110K, relevant to education and experience.
Required:
  • 5 years of experience in structural engineering design 
  • Bachelors Degree in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering
  • Experience with a variety of design and modeling programs including Bentley products (RAM Steel, RAM Concept, Elements etc)
  • Must have experience with Building Envelope and waterproofing
  • Must have experience designing with a variety of materials including steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and familiarity with applicable codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, etc.).
  • Versatility and the ability to work on several projects simultaneously are necessary
Preferred:
  • EIT or PE Certification is a PLUS but not required
Job Description:
  • Work on a wide range of new and existing building design projects including but not limited to: Commercial, Retail, Government, Hospitality, Education, Multi-Family and Historic.
  • Work within a team structure on larger projects and also manage projects.
  • Engineering analysis and design of new and existing structures.
