Selectek is working with a  full service structural engineering firm to find a   Structural Engineer / P.E. that can help lead projects and supervise more junior staff duties. Projects tend to be healthcare in nature but can also include  other structures such as: parking garages, retail, commercial, and industrial.

Pay: 95-105k /yr

Responsibilities
  • Layout, analysis and design of structural framing systems and foundations
  • Perform calculations and create/run models in design software
  • Engineering Materials: Structural Steel, Concrete, Masonry, Wood, Post-tension  Concrete Lateral analysis and design
  • Coordination of Construction Documents
  • Shop Drawing Review & Construction Site Visits
  • Ability to prioritize and plan work to meet agreed upon deadlines

Required:
  • Bachelor’ s Degree in Structural Engineering
  • PE
  • 8 Plus years of experience in the analysis and design of buildings structures. Design experience should include steel and concrete
  • Knowledge in construction document preparation
  • Proficient with common structural analysis software
  • Working Knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Strong Communication Skills

Preferred:
  • Design experience with wood, masonry, and post tension
  • Bentley RAM Software
  • REVIT experience
