Job Description

We are looking for a Structural Engineer to start working with a client of ours in Lithia Springs, GA as soon as possible. This candidate will be responsible for reviewing designs and completing calculations for load analysis per job requirement, work on testing of new designs to reduce cost, working with Project Managers, GC’s, and Architects for resolutions on complex issues.

Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Required by Client
  • BS or MS in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structures.
  • 4 plus years of work experience with structural steel, concrete, curtain wall, or metal framing.
  • Experience with STAAD & RISA or similar software.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • PE
  • Must reside and be eligible to work in the United States

Preferred by Client
  • Knowledge of current ASCE 7, AISC Steel Manual, Aluminum Design Manual, and International Building Code (IBC) is beneficial.
  • AutoCAD experience
  • Experience with Canopy systems

Pay Rate: $38/hr - $48/hr
Term: 6 months contract to hire
Location: Lithia Springs, GA 30122
