Job Description
We have a need for a P.E. Structural Engineer in the Kansas City, MO area. This is a direct hire opportunity!
Salary is relevant to experience, estimated at $90-$120K.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct structural analysis and design for various projects with minimal guidance from Director of Engineering or Project Manager.
- Develop detailed construction drawings and specifications.
- Collaborate with architects, clients, and other engineering disciplines.
- Check in with Project Manager on scheduling and major decisions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Perform site visits and inspections.
- Coordinate with clients as needed or directed by Project Manager.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Proficient in structural analysis software.
- Proficient in Revit.
Preferred:
- Commercial and municipal project experience including Multi-Family, Higher Education and Public Safety.
