Job Description

Do you thrive on collaborating with top architects and engineers to bring visionary projects to life? Selectek has an opportunity for a Structural Engineer. Join s leading design firm in the northeast metro Atlanta area and spearhead the structural integrity of hospitality, educational, and commercial buildings!

In this dynamic role, you will wear many hats – from initial concept design to construction oversight. You will leverage your expertise to develop sound structural solutions, ensure code compliance, and provide expert guidance throughout the entire building process.

Use your skills and experience for the following:

Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop comprehensive structural designs and construction documents.
Perform structural calculations and analyses for client approvals and permitting.
Ensure structural integrity through expert construction administration tasks, including reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs (Requests for Information), and conducting site observations.
Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up to date on building codes and construction best practices.

We're looking for a talented and passionate structural engineer with:

Bachelor of Civil Engineering with a focus on Structures.
5+ years of experience designing hospitality, educational, and commercial structures.
Proven ability to analyze and design steel and reinforced concrete buildings.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and building codes.

Bonus points for:

PE license
Master’s degree
Experience with Revit and hotel design
Experience with post-tensioned concrete structures, multi-story buildings, and RAM Structural System
