Job Description

Selectek is looking for a Structural Engineer to begin working with a great client of ours in Greer, SC immediately. This candidate will work closely with the Architectural, Piping Design, Mechanical, Process, and Electrical groups. They will design foundations, structures, and pipe racks required to support process equipment, process piping, instrumentation and power cable trays, and electrical equipment.

Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering
  • 10 or more years of experience in heavy industrial, manufacturing, and chemical-related projects
  • Extensive experience in structural engineering design using reinforced concrete, structural steel, masonry, and light gauge steel.
  • Knowledge of codes such as IBC, ASCE-7, AISC, ACI, OSHA, and ASTM
  • Proficient in STAAD.Pro, RAM Structural Systems, or RAM Elements
  • Experience delivering projects using AutoCAD
  • Must reside and be eligible to work in the United States

Pay Rate: $48/hr - $64/hr
Term: 6 months + contract
Location: Greer, SC 29650
