Job Description

Selectek is seeking a Structural Engineer for a contract-to-direct role with one of our partnering firms near Cleveland, Ohio. This firm works on a variety of projects including commercial, retail, or industrial projects.

Employment Type: Contract-to-Direct
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Expected Hourly Pay Range: $31-$53 based on experience and certifications, before permanent conversion

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- 3+ years of experience in structural engineering
- Strong design background in steel frame and concrete drawings
- Ideal candidate has experience in construction management

In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.

Job Duties:
- Structural engineering design of steel and concrete drawings for retail, commercial, or industrial projects
- Review project fees, contracts, and scope of work
- Perform calculations and structural analysis as needed
- Delegate/assign work to team members and interns as needed.
- Review project status, budget hours and schedule
- Assist with construction management in reviewing shop drawings and submittals. 

Schedule: Monday – Friday, typically 8:00a – 5:00p.
