Job Description

We have an immediate opening for a Structural Engineer  that has an interest in joining a small but well established industrial equipment design firm. The engineer will work on projects  for Materials Handling Conveyor Systems & Equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate or a junior engineer with an interest in bulk material handling equipment design.

The role will offer the engineer an opportunity to work in all phases of the project from infancy to implementation. This role will learn pricing, project management, engineering, modeling, and start up.

All candidates will need to be proficient with AutoCAD. Experience with structural analysis and design methods in accordance with AISC is ideal. As well as experience with layout of equipment and structures. Any experience with FEA, Dynamic Analysis and Inventor is a plus.

Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil (structural focus)
  • AutoCAD
Preferred:
  • Advanced Education
  • Inventor
  • Industrial Equipment Experience
  • 1-5 Years on the job experience
Job order details:
The Engineer will have a chance to come in and learn from the ground up their products and industry. They will be involved in all stages of product design from winning the bid, pricing, engineering/design, project management, and implementation of the final product. They will have a chance once they learn their designs to have their hand in every aspect of the process. 

Must be able to work in Marietta, GA office location
Salary will be based on experience
