Job Description


Pay: $65,000 – $85,000+ base salary (based on experience and EIT status)
Location: Alexandria / Springfield, VA
Term: Direct Hire


We are seeking a Structural Engineer to support building design projects in the Alexandria/Springfield area. This role is ideal for recent ABET-accredited graduates or engineers with an EIT and 1–3+ years of structural building design experience who are looking for long-term growth and mentorship in a collaborative environment.

Job Duties:

  • Perform analysis and design of building structural systems using steel, concrete, masonry, and wood

  • Prepare structural drawings and details using AutoCAD and Revit

  • Coordinate with architects and multidisciplinary engineering teams

  • Support renovation, retrofit, and new construction projects

  • Assist with construction administration, including RFIs and submittal reviews

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering

  • EIT certification or applicable structural building experience

  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and structural design software

  • Strong communication and organizational skills
