Job Description


Our client is currently seeking a Structural Engineer. This person can work Remotely, however EST or CST time zones are preferred.     

Summary:
  • Candidate should be able to lead and design concrete and steel or timber frame building engineering assignments without much supervision. 
  • The Engineer will draw details and communicate drawing information to CAD designers who are working on the same projects. 
  • The candidate will perform structural analysis and generate calculations for wind and seismic while adhering to IBC codes. 
  • Markups will be done in Bluebeam or by hand. 
  • The work will be done on small commercial projects but there will be many, so this person needs to be multi-task oriented and able to move quickly from one project to the next.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 5-6 years’ experience
  • Structural Analysis program experience (ie: RISA, RAM, STAAD, ADAPT, etc)
  • Experience with Concrete and Steel structures/buildings
  • Revit - must have
  • BIM modeling
  • AutoCAD proficiency

Pay Rate:
  • $40 – 45/hr, dependent on experience
