Job Description

Selectek is seeking a Structural Engineer (Telecom) to design and analyze communication structures for wireless telecommunication sites, including towers, buildings, foundations, and rooftops. This role also involves designing custom solutions for telecommunications equipment support, such as elevated steel platforms and antenna mounting frames.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct structural analysis and design for towers, water tanks, rooftops, and foundations.
  • Utilize software such as RISA 3D, TnxTower, OCALC, and ENERCAL for calculations.
  • Develop reinforcing and extension solutions while ensuring compliance with local jurisdictional requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineers, drafters, and construction teams to deliver high-quality designs.
  • Perform site visits as needed to document field conditions.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of structural engineering experience, preferably in telecom.
  • BS or MS in Civil or Structural Engineering (PE preferred).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, ASD & LRFD, TIA-G and TIA-H codes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Details:
  • Location: Fully remote (Preference for CST/EST candidates).
  • Pay Rate: $38.46 - $43.27/hr. ($80K - $90K per year).
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM (Flexible start time).
  • Term: Long-term contract (6+ months, with ongoing workload).
  • Travel: None.
