Hiring Now: Structural Drafter

Location: Waukesha, WI
Industry: Structural Engineering | Commercial Construction
Schedule: Immediate Opening

Join a seasoned team of structural engineering experts and help bring commercial buildings to life! Our client  is looking for a Structural Drafter to support project engineers in designing low-rise commercial buildings using AutoCAD and Revit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce accurate structural plans and drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Collaborate with project engineers on building designs and documentation
  • Incorporate redline edits and design adjustments as directed
  • Apply construction knowledge and building codes to drafting work
  • Prepare structural computations, material specs, and quantity estimates
  • Coordinate framing dimensions and architectural requirements
  • Maintain project timelines and communicate effectively with team members
  • Contribute to a respectful, professional work environment with minimal supervision

Requirements
  • Associate’s or Technical Degree in Drafting (preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in structural drafting
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
  • Solid understanding of commercial construction
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
  • Able to work independently and within project teams
  • Professional and respectful communication skills
