Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity with a client that is an established and growing design firm for a Structural drafter/designer. Candidates should have three plus years of experience in structural engineering for commercial projects.
The primary responsibility will be developing construction documents. This individual will be responsible for structural design/drafting assignments requiring advanced working knowledge of structural design/drafting standards, practices, and techniques in building structural, site structural, and heavy structural elements in concrete, masonry, steel, and wood.
The role will be tasked with completing the structural projects from initial concept through the planning process and implementation. Candidates should be proficient with Revit and able to work in both paper and model space. Candidates should be proficient with x-references, blocks, and sheet sets.
Duties Include:
  • Developing Construction Documents (modeling, sheet setup, annotation, etc.) using Revit and/or AutoCAD under the supervision of Project Manager/Engineer
  • Utilize BIM360 to host models and coordinate with clients
  • Works collaboratively in a team environment of Engineers and other CAD Technicians and with minimal supervision
Required:
  • 3 plus years of experience designing and drafting  structural systems for commercial projects including creating the construction documents.
  • Revit and AutoCAD proficiency
  • Proficient with working in both paper and model space and with x-references, blocks, and sheet sets
Preferred:
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary projects
Location: Roswell, GA
Pay Range-$23/hr-$30/hr
6 month temp to hire/excellent benefits when direct
