Job Description

Our client in Birmingham, AL has an immediate need for a Structural Drafter/Designer. The designer will be responsible for reading plans and working  with engineers to complete projects, which includes, setting up sheets, laying out building plans or elevations, and cutting sections so the engineers can design the project in a timely fashion.

Required:
  • AutoCAD
  • Revit
  • 3+ years drafting experience, emphasis on structural in the vertical construction field
  • The ability to read plans and look at sections given to us by our clients
  • The ability to draft from the plans and sections to show the structural elements required to make the building be structurally sound.
  • The ability to communicate and understand what is required of you for each project.
  • To be flexible and work on multiple jobs at the same time.
Direct Hire or Temp to Hire
$25/hr-$40/hr
