Structural Drafter/Designer
(Waukesha Wisconsin area)
A stable and growing engineering consulting company has a great career opportunity for a Structural Drafter-Designer working for a stable and growing engineering consulting company in the Waukesha Wisconsin area.
The Structural Drafter-Designer Responsibilities Include:
* Overall, create and perform structural drafting, design, drawing, and construction documentation for a variety of commercial design-build projects
* Support design and development of commercial structural plans and drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
* Assist engineering with research, planning, and design of building projects for clients
* Coordinate and collaborate in managing redline comments, revisions, plans, elevations, etc.
* Apply knowledge of building and construction specifications and codes to design and produce accurate documents and drawings
* Prepare and support construction documentation with consideration to design, material specifications, detailing, structural computations, material quantity estimates, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
* A.S. Degree/Diploma or Vocational-Technical School or Equivalent Experience
* Working knowledge and proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and commercial construction standards and specifications
* 2+ years of commercial project structural drafting, design, drawing, and construction documentation experience
