Job Description

Are you seeking a new role in the structural design field? Selectek needs a Structural Designer for a client located in Lakeland, Florida. Candidates will be preparing foundation and structural steel layouts, detail and assembly drawings, sketches, and diagrams.

Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm
Expected Pay Range: $34-$41 per hour before conversion, based on experience and education
Location: Lakeland, FL

Job Duties:
- Create and revise drawings in AutoCAD for foundation (spread footers, piles, stone columns) and structural steel (connections, equipment support, catwalks, conveyors) designs
- Sketch rough layouts for equipment considering all necessary factors
- Maintain familiarity with industry standards and government regulations
- Set up and maintain an organized file system for drawings

Job Requirements:
- Proficiency with AutoCAD
- 5+ years of experience in structural steel and foundation design
- Associate degree or completion of technical school program

In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.
