Job Description


We have an opening for a Structural Designer in Greenville, SC - OR for a Remote candidate with little to no supervision. 
This role will focus on creating drawings for commercial buildings. This candidate will coordinate with the Structural Engineering Department to produce structural drawings in Revit and Autocad from sketches and/or specifications submitted by the team.  Buildings will be 10 stories and under.

Required:
Revit proficiency
BIM Modeling
Autocad
Minimum 3-5 years of Structural Design
Commercial Building experience – some industrial is ok as long as there is a heavier commercial mix



Job Details:

Candidate should be able to lead and design concrete and steel or timber frame building engineering assignments without much supervision.  They will draw details and  communicate drawing information to CAD designers who are working on the same projects.  The candidate will perform structural analysis and generate calculations for wind and seismic while adhering to IBC codes.  Markups will be done in Bluebeam or by hand.  The work will be done on small commercial projects but there will be many, so this person needs to be multi-task oriented and able to move quickly from one project to the next.
