Selectek has an immediate need for a Structural Designer/Draftsman in East Idaho Falls, ID.

Job description:
  • Creating design documents for industrial and commercial building projects using Revit, AutoCAD and/or Tekla.
  • Design/Drafting concrete and steel-reinforced storage facilities, shelters, and other industrial-style buildings.
Required:
  • 3+ years of structural design/drafting experience
  • Proficiency with Revit 
  • Experience working with reinforced concrete, structural steel and/or reinforced masonry
Preferred: 
  • AutoCAD
  • Experience with industrial and/or commercial projects

Job Order Details:
  • Typically working on projects in several states in the US, Canada, Japan, French Islands.
  • Project workload for candidate will be 70% Industrial, 30% Commercial; Designing Silos, Coal Storage facilities, Nuclear Safety, and Concrete storage. It's heavy Design work on multiple projects.
  • The Revit experience is most important, and they will consider someone with a different background (although structural is highly preferred). This is NOT a steel detailer role.

Pay range: $30/hour - $40/hour ($60,000 - $80,000 annual salary)
Term of assignment: 6 months contract to hire
Pay method when direct: Salary
Relocation: Open to paying moving fees for an experienced, higher level candidate
Location of job: East Idaho Falls, Idaho 83401
Hours and shift: Monday - Friday 8:00- 5:00
Work from home/remote: No
Overtime expected: Yes, 3-10 hours per week
Travel: None
