Job Description

Our client is a structural engineering firm and has a new opportunity for a leader with their firm. This individual will act as a Structural Design Engineer. The candidate will perform specific and/or limited portions of broader assignments for licensed engineers, including the preparation of engineering drawings and calculations, construction administration tasks, and construction observations. The successful candidate must be able to earn the confidence of our clients through elegant, practical, and timely engineering solutions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (required).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural design for commercial projects.
  • Proficiency in Revit (required).
  • Strong understanding of structural systems and building codes.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist licensed engineers by performing specific and/or limited portions of broader structural design assignments.
  • Prepare engineering drawings and calculations in support of commercial structural projects.
  • Conduct construction administration tasks including RFIs, submittal reviews, and site inspections.
  • Perform field visits and construction observations to ensure project specifications and quality standards are met.
  • Provide elegant, practical, and timely engineering solutions to meet client needs and expectations.
  • Maintain strong communication and professional relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Pay Rate: $75,000 - $100,000 (or more depending on experience)
