Job Description

We have an immediate opening for a Structural Design Engineer to join our client’s team and help with structural drawing production. The position is with an architectural firm that primarily works with commercial, retail, restaurants, and strip center projects. All the buildings are single story construction with wood frames or structural steel frames. The role will require a lot of work with metal studs and bar joints.
This role will be responsible for producing drawings in AutoCAD that will put together wall sections and framing work. There will be some calculation and analysis work as well.
Required
  • Engineering Degree with a focus on Structures
  • Strong AutoCAD Proficiency
  • 5 plus years designing similar buildings. Need to have experience with steel frame, metal stud, wood, and concrete block buildings.
Preferred
  • Experience with Concrete or Masonry work is preferred but not required.
Pay: $29.00- $38.00 DOE
