Job Description

Selectek is seeking an experienced Structural Designer to fill a Bridge Designer  role for one of our partnering companies near Indianapolis, IN. This firm specializes in infrastructure projects, so candidates will need a strong  background in bridge structure design.

Employment Type: Temp to Perm
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Expected Pay Range: $25 - $36 per hour before conversion, based on experience and certifications

Job Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in bridge design
- Proficiency in Civil 3D or MicroStation software
- Experience with Prefabricated steel trusses
- Background in reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, steel, and timber

In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.

Job Duties:
- Designing bridges
- Develop construction documents and specifications
- Assist with preparation of engineering plans/reports and construction cost estimates 
- Complete field assignments like data collection and construction observation/inspection
- Perform calculations and prepare take-offs
