Job Description


We are currently working with a client to find a Steel Detailer to detail drawings for structural steel and custom platforms. This position will serve a dual role, in both detailing as well as point cloud data processing from field scan technology system.

Pay Range: $25/hr. - $40/hr. DOE
Temp to Perm
Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare submittal drawings
  • Prepare fabrication/shop drawings
  • Prepare erection/final drawings
  • Utilize point cloud data to create model/drawing packages

Required:
  • Prior Experience using Tekla Structures is required, AutoCAD is a plus
  • Knowledge of shop and erection process/willingness to learn
  • Experienced in connection detailing.
  • Ability to interact with customers professionally regarding design/submittal steps/feedback
  • Must be able to professionally communicate verbally/electronically with colleagues
  • Must be able to work under pressure and tight deadlines to meet customer demands
  • Candidate must possess patience and willingness to learn new/growing technologies
  • Candidate must be willing to continue education through formal/informal means
