Job Description

A Sr. Telecom BIM Designer to support the development of fully coordinated, constructable design deliverables for complex telecom projects. In this role, you’ll lead the setup and management of Revit BIM models while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to produce clash-free 3D models and detailed 2D construction drawings. This is an opportunity to apply your expertise in Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD within a highly integrated design environment, ensuring consistency and quality in alignment with company and client standards.

Required:
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • At least 8 years of Revit BIM design experience
  • Proficiency with NavisWorks
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in telecommunications systems design and construction industry
  • Understanding of how codes and standards shape design decisions
  • Understanding of design and construction specifications and their function
  • Understanding of wiring/cabling connections in relation to a circuit or a link between devices and equipment
  • Experience following client design and modeling standards
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam or similar markup software
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to estimate hours required for design and modeling efforts based on provided markups and/or verbal direction requests
  • Willingness to learn
Preferred:
  • At least 6 years of Revit MEP design experience
  • Knowledge & application of telecommunications industry association (TIA) standards
  • Knowledge and design experience of semiconductor and/or advance facility environments
  • Knowledge and design experience with paging, intercom, and audio-visual systems
  • Knowledge and design experience with life safety and security systems, fire alarm, access control, closed-circuit television (CCTV)
  • Knowledge of control systems and network components and topology
Job Responsibilities:
  • Support the development of fully coordinated, constructable design deliverables for complex telecommunications projects.
  • Lead the setup, management, and maintenance of Revit BIM models.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless coordination across design disciplines.
  • Produce clash-free 3D models and detailed 2D construction drawings.
  • Utilize Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD to develop and manage design documentation.
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality in accordance with company and client standards.
Pay Range: $45/hr. - $61/hr.
