Sr. Plumbing Engineer

Job Description

We are searching for a Sr. Plumbing Engineer to work closely with a team of project engineers, architects and interior designers to develop plans and specifications for a variety of exciting project types.

Working under the direction of the project manager, you will gain knowledge and experience in all phases of design.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Workload oversight of assigned plumbing staff
  • Feasibility studies, probable cost estimates,
  • Oversee the production of construction documents (plans, details, schedules, specifications),
  • Conduct Quality assessments, and assist with construction administration
  • Adherence to plumbing processes and procedures


Required:
  • Degree in Engineering
  • 10 or more years' experience in the plumbing engineering industry, preferably in designing large science and tech, higher education and corporate office projects.
  • Registered Engineer or Designers License required.
  • Specialty certifications such as LEED, WELL, etc. desired but not required
  • Solid proficiency in Revit required
  • Knowledgeable in the Microsoft Office program suite (Work, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with software programs associated with load calculations, energy analysis and system sizing.
  • Superb communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of other professionals and disciplines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team setting and maintain a keen eye for design and details.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and dependable with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent Interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of plumbing codes, plumbing systems and construction detailing
Pay Rate Range: $43.27/hr - $57.69/hr

Location of Job: Madison, WI (53703) OR Waukesha, WI (53188)

Work from Home or Remote work available

Hours: M-F: 8am – 5pm
