Selectek is partnering with a company in northern Dallas, Texas to hire a Mechanical Designer. This company specializes in HVAC, plumbing, and fire suppression systems for large-scale projects, so candidates will need a strong HVAC design background.
Employment Type: Temp to Perm
Expected Pay Range: $31.25-$38.50 per hour before conversion, depending on experience
Location: northeast Atlanta, GA
Job Duties: Candidates will designing HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, and multifamily residential buildings. This role will require knowledge DX split systems and packaged A/C systems including rooftop units. Candidates will also need to perform calculations for heat/loss gains and adhere to local building codes.
Job Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in HVAC design
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
- Knowledge of various HVAC and exhaust systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office systems
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00a-5:00p.
