Job Description

Our client is looking for a (REMOTE) Sr. Life Safety Systems Engineer to work on projects including semiconductor manufacturing, data center facilities, and other state of the art manufacturing and research facilities.


Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Protection or a Master’s degree in Fire protection
  • At least 5 years of Fire Protection Engineering experience
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license
  • Knowledge & application of IFC, IBC, FM standards, and NFPA codes
  • Knowledge of Fire Sprinkler and Gaseous agent manufacturers' equipment
  • Knowledge of Fire Alarm systems and manufacturer’s equipment
  • Design experience with Security systems, CCTV, HPM, and Leak Detection
  • Knowledge of design and construction specifications
  • Experience estimating and scheduling mid to large-scale projects
  • At least 4 years of AutoCAD design experience
  • Ability to travel 10% for site support 

Preferred:
  • Experience leading projects and managing resources
  • Experience mentoring junior staff
  • Design Management experience
  • Design experience in semiconductor or datacenters

Term: Long term contract
Pay Rate: $46.00 - $72.00 per hour (flexible depending on experience)
100% Remote
