Job Description
We are looking for a Sr. Industrial Piping/Mechanical Designer to start working with a client of ours in the Crawfordville, FL area as soon as possible. This candidate will be responsible for being at the plant daily. This position is a one-year contract.
Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
Requirements
- 10 or more years of experience with 3D modeling Industrial piping and mechanical designs, preferably using AutoCAD Plant-3D and Inventor.
- Work independently to prepare complex engineering drawings of mechanical, structural, and piping; and be able to markup and work from P&IDs.
- Be able to route and/or reroute pipe design runs, prepare piping drawings and isometrics.
- Prepare equipment, structural steel, and concrete 3D models and drawings.
- Must be able to read and understand existing plant drawings (equipment, structural steel, concrete, and site work).
- Must be able to work on several projects at the same time.
- Must reside and be eligible to work in the United States
Pay Rate: $40/hr - $58/hr
Term: One year+ contract
