We have an immediate need for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer.

Job description:
- Lead and direct projects with overall responsibility for technical accuracy and appropriateness
- Plan, coordinate and direct larger, more significant and/or complex engineering projects
- Manage/solve technically complex problems
- Implement advanced techniques, theory, precepts and practices
- Serve as technical specialist and staff advisor
- Work closely with other disciplines on multi discipline projects
- Ensure consistent, professionally written communication with clients and other outside contacts
- Direct proposal preparation and administer contracts
- Schedule and budget projects, striving to make each project profitable
- Supervision of engineering and support personnel
- Develop staff and project engineers
- Initiate and advance business development opportunities
- Client development and retention
- Participate in collections
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- 6-8 years of relevant, progressive experience
- Ability to obtain a PE License in WV, OH and/or another state with WV reciprocity
- Ability to write geotechnical reports, analyze data and provide credentialed expertise
- Familiarity with soils and general subsurface characteristics of VA, WV, and PA
- Proficient with gINT Bentley, Settle3, Settle3D, and/or similar Geotech settlement and foundation software tools.
Preferred:
- WV DOH/ VDOT/MDOT project experience.
- Professional Engineer's License
