Job Description
We have an immediate long term need for a Senior Estimator for our client in the oil and gas industry.
Summary:
The focus of the role as a senior estimator is to help the estimating team reach their initiatives by providing estimating work for terminals, chemical, petrochemical and refining projects. Much of the estimating work will be for piping systems.

Summary:
The focus of the role as a senior estimator is to help the estimating team reach their initiatives by providing estimating work for terminals, chemical, petrochemical and refining projects. Much of the estimating work will be for piping systems.
Job Duties:
- Have a broad knowledge of Civil, Electrical, & Mechanical construction methods, as they apply to these industries for piping systems.
- Be capable of following process flow diagrams, isometric piping diagrams, and plant layout drawings.
- Experience with database driven estimating systems such as Winestimator. Database management experience will be considered a plus.
- Keep project database prices up to date. Learn this software and become proficient. Gain sorting and reporting capabilities.
- Learn to create estimates using the software with training.
- Learn to create and edit component assemblies.
- Learn to install new downloads and annual updates to all computers using the software.
- Assist with integrating the estimating software with P6 scheduling tool.
- Power BI experience a plus
Required:
- 10 plus years of estimating experience for liquid storage terminals, chemical, petrochemical, or refining industries.
- Piping system estimating experience.
- Capable of following process flow diagrams, isometric piping diagrams, and plant layout drawings.
- Database driven estimating systems experience such as Winestimator
Preferred:
- Database management experience is a plus.
- Power BI experience
- Drafting capability
Pay: $50-$62/hr.
